Overview

The MikroTik hAP ax² is a compact dual-band Wi-Fi 6 router and access point for homes, small offices, and advanced home networks. Dual-chain 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless provides connectivity for modern and older Wi-Fi devices, while five Gigabit Ethernet ports connect computers, storage devices, and other wired equipment.

A quad-core ARM 64-bit processor and 1 GB of RAM support RouterOS network management, including firewall rules, VLANs, VPNs, traffic control, and scripting. WPA3 support adds modern wireless security, while compatible Wi-Fi 5 clients can benefit from 802.11ac Wave 2 features such as MU-MIMO and explicit beamforming.

Flexible powering includes a DC jack and PoE-in, with passive PoE-out on Ether1 for a compatible device. The compact enclosure supports vertical, horizontal, or wall-mounted installation, making it easy to fit into desks, shelves, and other space-limited locations.
