Overview

The MikroTik hEX Refresh (E50UG) is a compact wired Gigabit router for homes, small offices, and networking labs. Five Gigabit Ethernet ports provide connections for computers, switches, and other network devices, while RouterOS v7 offers flexible network configuration and management.

A dual-core 950 MHz ARM processor and 512 MB of DDR3 RAM provide an upgrade over the previous hEX RB750Gr3. The E50UG also includes 128 MB of NAND storage and a full-sized USB Type-A port for connecting external storage for file and media sharing.

The fanless enclosure fits easily on a desk or shelf. Power the router using the included adapter or a compatible 12–28 V passive PoE source. This is a wired-only router; wireless connectivity requires a separate access point.
