Overview

The MikroTik CRS309-1G-8S+IN is a compact managed switch with eight 10G SFP+ ports and one Gigabit Ethernet port. It provides high-speed connectivity for servers, storage systems, workstations, and aggregation links in small offices, server rooms, and home labs.

With 81 Gbps of non-blocking throughput and 162 Gbps of switching capacity, the CRS309 supports demanding Layer 2 switching workloads. Dual-boot operation lets administrators choose SwOS for switch-focused management or RouterOS for additional routing and network configuration capabilities.

The metal enclosure doubles as a heatsink for quiet, fanless operation. Power the switch using the included adapter or a compatible PoE source through its Gigabit Ethernet port. This model does not provide PoE output. Included rack ears support rack installation, while an RS232 console provides local management access. SFP+ modules and direct attach cables are sold separately.

The metal enclosure acts as a heatsink, providing passive cooling without fan noise. Use the included DC adapter or compatible PoE-in power, and install the switch on a desktop or with the included rack ears.
