It combines 20 U.2 NVMe storage trays, high-speed 100G networking, a 16-core ARM processor, 32 GB of DDR4 RAM, and RouterOS v7 in a single rackmount system.

Powered by ROSE, a specialized RouterOS edition for storage and compute, the RDS2216 supports advanced storage capabilities including RAID, iSCSI, NVMe-TCP, BTRFS, encryption layers, and modular storage configurations.
