Overview

The MikroTik RB5009UPr+S+OUT is a high-performance outdoor PoE router designed for network towers, ISP infrastructure, and demanding outdoor network deployments. Its IP66-rated waterproof enclosure protects the hardware from harsh weather while seven Gigabit Ethernet ports, one 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port, and a 10G SFP+ cage provide flexible copper and fiber connectivity.

Powered by a quad-core 1.4 GHz ARM64 processor with 1 GB of DDR4 RAM and 1 GB of NAND storage, the RB5009UPr+S+OUT runs RouterOS v7 and supports demanding routing and networking workloads. PoE-in and PoE-out on all eight Ethernet ports, a dedicated 2-pin power terminal, and multiple power-source options provide extensive redundancy for remote installations where uptime matters.

IP66-Rated Outdoor Protection

An IP66-rated waterproof enclosure protects the RB5009UPr+S+OUT for outdoor installations, making it well suited for network towers and other environments exposed to challenging weather conditions.

PoE-In & PoE-Out on All Ethernet Ports

All eight Ethernet ports support PoE-in and PoE-out, with up to 25 W available per PoE-out port and up to 130 W total output power for compatible radios, access points, and other network devices.

Flexible 1G, 2.5G & 10G Connectivity

Seven Gigabit Ethernet ports, one 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port, a 10G SFP+ cage, and a full-size USB 3.0 port provide flexible connectivity for outdoor network infrastructure and high-speed fiber uplinks.

Extensive Power Redundancy

PoE-in on all eight Ethernet ports and a 2-pin power terminal provide nine possible ways to power the router. When multiple sources are connected, the unit can select the source with the highest available voltage to help maintain operation if another power source goes down.
