Overview

The MikroTik CRS504-4XQ-IN is a compact 100 Gigabit switch for aggregation, backbone connections, and high-speed server networks. Four QSFP28 ports provide 100G connectivity, offering an upgrade path for networks expanding beyond 10G and 25G infrastructure.

Each QSFP28 port supports breakout into four 25G connections using compatible breakout cables, allowing up to sixteen 25G connections across the switch. Support for compatible 100G, 40G, 25G, 10G, and 1G connections provides flexibility when integrating existing equipment. Lower-speed connections require suitable modules, adapters, or breakout cables.

A Marvell Prestera switch chip handles high-speed switching, while RouterOS v7 provides network configuration and management. Dual hot-swappable power supplies, additional DC and PoE input options, and a dedicated Ethernet management port support flexible installation. Maximum power consumption is 25 W without attachments and 41 W with attachments.
