Overview

The MikroTik hEX S (E60iUGS) is a compact wired router designed for home networks, small offices, and networking labs. Five Gigabit Ethernet ports and an SFP cage supporting 1G and 2.5G connections provide flexible connectivity for internet uplinks, local devices, and compatible fiber installations.

A dual-core 950 MHz processor, 512 MB of RAM, and RouterOS v7 support advanced routing, VLANs, bonding, and traffic shaping. Configurable port roles let administrators build WAN, LAN, and bridged connections around their network requirements. A USB 3.0 port supports external storage and file-sharing applications.

Power the hEX S through its DC jack or PoE-in on Ether1, and use passive PoE-out on Ether5 to supply a compatible device within the supported voltage and current limits. Its compact, wall-mountable enclosure fits easily on a desk, inside a cabinet, or alongside other network equipment.

Receive power through Ether1 or the DC jack, and power a compatible downstream device through Ether5. Passive PoE-out supports up to 57 V with a maximum output current of 0.5 A.

USB 3.0 and Compact Mounting

Connect external storage through the USB 3.0 Type-A port for file-sharing applications. The compact enclosure supports desktop placement or wall mounting to suit the available space.
