Overview

The MikroTik XS+31LC40D is a multi-rate SFP/SFP+/SFP28 optical transceiver designed for long-distance single-mode fiber connections up to 40 km. Supporting 1.25G, 10G, and 25G connectivity in a single module, it provides flexibility for connecting distant network sites, expanding ISP infrastructure, and building high-speed fiber links.

Operating at a 1310 nm wavelength with a dual LC UPC connector, the XS+31LC40D includes digital diagnostic monitoring (DDM) for tracking optical power, temperature, voltage, and laser bias current. Its multi-rate design allows networks to transition from 1G or 10G to 25G as connected equipment is upgraded, without replacing the optical module.
