The MikroTik CRS317 is a high-density 16-port 10G SFP+ Cloud Router Switch built for fiber aggregation in ISP, enterprise, and data center networks. It delivers wire-speed Layer 2 switching across all SFP+ ports while offering the flexibility to run either RouterOS or SwOS, depending on your network requirements.

Where the CRS317 is commonly used

  • ISP core and aggregation switching
  • Enterprise and data center fiber distribution
  • High-density 10G lab and test environments
  • Networks requiring silent operation and redundant power

Powered by a next-generation switching chip, the CRS317 delivers non-blocking wire-speed performance on all sixteen 10GbE SFP+ ports with any Ethernet frame size. Hardware-based features such as Spanning Tree Protocol and Link Aggregation (LACP) provide stability and redundancy for demanding network environments.

The CRS317 features dual redundant power supplies and a passive cooling design for completely silent operation. In higher-temperature environments, two integrated fans activate automatically to maintain safe operating temperatures without compromising reliability.

  • Boot option for SwOS or RouterOS
  • Non-blocking Layer 2 switching capacity
  • 16 × SFP+ 10G ports + 1 × Gigabit Ethernet management port
  • IEEE 802.1Q VLAN support (up to 4K VLANs)
  • Hardware MPLS forwarding
  • Link Aggregation (LACP), MSTP, RSTP
  • Port isolation, port security, ACLs
  • SNMP v2/v3 monitoring
  • Dual redundant power supplies
  • Passive cooling with automatic fan activation
  • Operating temperature: -20°C to +60°C
  • Rackmount or tabletop installation
