The MikroTik CRS310 is a compact Cloud Router Switch designed for indoor fiber aggregation in ISP, SMB, and lab environments. With a mix of 10G SFP+ and 1G SFP ports, it offers a practical upgrade path for networks transitioning from Gigabit to 10 Gigabit fiber while maintaining low latency and stable performance.

Where the CRS310 is commonly used

  • Indoor fiber aggregation for small and medium ISPs
  • SMB core or distribution switching
  • Network labs and test environments
  • Upgrades from CRS212 and older Gigabit-only switches

Equipped with a modern ARM v7 CPU, 256 MB of RAM, and Marvell switch chips, the CRS310 delivers reliable performance for mixed 1G and 10G fiber workloads. Hardware-offloaded VLAN filtering and selective Layer 3 routing help reduce CPU load while maintaining predictable throughput.

The CRS310 features five 1G SFP ports, four 10G SFP+ ports, and a dedicated Gigabit Ethernet port connected directly to the switch chip for full Gigabit throughput. PoE-in support provides flexible powering options for deployments where traditional power access is limited.

Designed for indoor use, the CRS310 can be mounted in a standard 1U rack to keep network infrastructure organized. Optical fiber support makes it a strong alternative to copper in environments where electromagnetic interference, security, or distance are concerns.

  • 4 × 10G SFP+ ports
  • 5 × 1G SFP ports
  • 1 × Gigabit Ethernet port
  • PoE-in support
  • Hardware-offloaded VLAN filtering
  • Partial hardware Layer 3 routing
  • RouterOS or SwOS support
  • Rack-mountable (1U)
  • Designed for indoor environments
