Overview

The MikroTik RB5009UPr+S+IN is a compact PoE router designed for small and medium ISPs and networks that need high-speed connectivity with flexible power distribution. It combines seven Gigabit Ethernet ports, one 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port, and a 10G SFP+ cage with PoE-in and PoE-out support on all eight Ethernet ports.

Powered by a quad-core 1.4 GHz ARM64 processor with 1 GB of DDR4 RAM and 1 GB of NAND storage, the RB5009UPr+S+IN runs RouterOS v7 and provides a powerful routing platform in a durable metallic enclosure. Three power input methods and a PoE-out budget of up to 130 W provide additional flexibility for powering connected network devices.

PoE-In & PoE-Out on All Ethernet Ports

All eight Ethernet ports support PoE-in and PoE-out, allowing the router to receive power over Ethernet while also powering compatible network devices. Each PoE-out port can supply up to 25 W, with up to 130 W total output power available across the ports.

Flexible 1G, 2.5G & 10G Connectivity

Seven Gigabit Ethernet ports, one 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port, and a 10G SFP+ cage provide flexible connectivity for network devices, high-speed uplinks, and fiber connections.

Multiple Power & Failover Options

Power the router through PoE-in, a DC jack, or a 2-pin terminal, with each input supporting 24–57 V. The router can automatically use available power sources based on voltage and fall back to another source if the active input fails.

Compact High-Performance Design

A quad-core 1.4 GHz ARM64 processor, 1 GB of DDR4 RAM, and a durable metallic enclosure deliver powerful RouterOS performance in a compact design that allows up to four RB5009 routers to fit within a single 1U rack space using the optional K-79 rackmount kit.
