Overview

The MikroTik CRS317-1G-16S+RM is a managed 10G switch with sixteen SFP+ ports and one Gigabit Ethernet port for management. It provides high-density connectivity for fiber aggregation, server and storage networks, and enterprise distribution in a 1U rackmount enclosure.

The Marvell switch chip delivers non-blocking Layer 2 switching across the sixteen 10G ports. Dual-boot support lets administrators choose SwOS for switch-focused management or RouterOS for additional routing and network configuration capabilities. VLANs, link aggregation, spanning tree, access controls, and traffic mirroring support managed network deployments.

Dual internal AC power supplies provide power redundancy. The enclosure supports passive heat dissipation, with two fans activating automatically when additional cooling is needed. An RJ45 serial console provides local configuration and troubleshooting access. Compatible SFP modules, SFP+ modules, and direct attach cables are sold separately.
