Sales Support Internet Assistant

We are a growing internet distributor of wireless telecommunications equipment in Lisle.  This is an excellent opportunity to get into the ever-growing telecommunications industry and to put your operations support mindset outside of the traditional Customer Service Department. Here, you will be challenged to think strategically to make complex decisions every day.  If you think you are a super Task-Manager, this job is for you!

Responsibilities

  1. Fraud Analysis - Using knowledge of credit card fraud patterns, assess orders placed via our webstore for fraud and make order acceptance decisions. Perform customer identity verification for high-risk orders.  Fraud analysis training will be provided.
  2. Manage customer returns (RMA) in accordance with the company’s Return Policy - Arrange for product returns through customer communication and coordination with our repair and shipping departments. Maintain a thorough documentation of the product returns within the company’s RMA database. 
  3. Manage product arrivals - With attention to detail, maintain product inventory arrival schedules and record all product inventory arrivals in company inventory management system. Coordinate with our receiving department.  
  4. Vendor Management - Maintain strong vendor relationships, monitor inventory backorders with vendors to eliminate backlogs.
  5. Coordinate with the Warehouse Operations and suppliers to ensure that the complex customer service issues i.e. shipping errors, delayed shipments, tracking lost or delayed shipments, are properly researched and resolved.
  6. Manage telephone and email customer inquiries, all of customer interaction is over the phone and email. Assist callers with product selection and take orders over the phone or via email. Research product availability with vendors and prepare sales estimates for customers.
  7. Using knowledge of logistics, coordinate freight shipments for inbound inventory and outbound customer orders with the Warehouse Operations.
  8. Coordinate with Purchasing inventory needs, inventory re-ordering and product arrival.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of on-line shopping concepts and will possess a bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related business experience.

Inside Sales / IT

We are looking for a tech-savvy business developer for our immediate opening in Inside Sales. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in the rapidly growing and ever-changing wireless telecommunications industry. The position requires a high degree of judgment, passion for wireless networking product and extraordinary communication skills. A successful candidate will be comfortable working in a sales-quota driven environment and will possess a minimum of 3 years in a business development experience and product distribution experience:

Responsibilities

  1. Manage telephone and email sales inquiries about WiFi solutions offered, assisting customers with product selection, 90% of customer interaction will be over the phone and email.
  2. Perform prospect calls covering a wide geographic range and diverse customer demographics.
  3. Follow-up on all leads forwarded from the sales channel partners
  4. Plan follow-up calls and maintain all reporting and administrative functions in an accurate and timely fashion
  5. Provide prompt and professional responses to product and pricing requests, assist customers with system design /technical questions, provide first tier technical support and trouble-shooting.
  6. Represent the company in 4-5 industry trade shows per year.
  7. Take orders over the phone or via email, assisting customers with placing orders on-line.
  8. Researching product availability and preparing sales estimates for products stocked in our warehouse and for products available at our partner vendors.
  9. Utilizing strong communication skills, educate customers about the company’s return and warranty policies and the complex technical support model.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor Degree in Marketing or IT, 3-5 years of Business-to-Business sales
  2. Strong computer skills, MS Office required
  3. Ability to address customer objections and technical questions, comprehend customers' needs and react quickly. Experience calling on/into large organizations and communicate with Senior IT Personnel
  4. Proven organization skills, ability to work with little supervision with a high degree of judgment
  5. Strong aptitude for technology, understanding of basic concepts of wireless networks and engineering concepts (frequencies, devices, network components).
  6. The candidate must strive to maintain current on technology advancements and industry standards
  7. Professional polish, pleasant telephone skills, is able to resolve issues with a positive attitude in a high-pressure environment.

Compensation

Base salary with a commission incentive, upwards of $70,000
