HaloB Features

Bai Cells Halo B is an additional feature that gives service providers a way to operate using a "Lite EPC". Exisiting eNodesB's can be upgraded to HaloB through software feature activation (nominal fee to get this upgraded feature). Local EPC Feature Key, QTY 1, 1per eNB needed
SIM card IMSIs can attach to multiple HaloB eNBs and each will store the SIM data for future attachments. In the event of a rare CloudCore outage, new installs may not be able to attach during the outage if the SIM data has never been downloaded from the BOSS before.

You can use toe eNB GUI or the CloudCore OMC to perform the steps to implement HaloB. If you are planning to implement HaloB on more than one exisiting eNB, Bai Cells recommends you use the OMC to upgrade multiple eNB's simultaneously.
