The case is a high quality, powder coated metal enclosure that includes standoffs, assembly screws, mounting hardware and standard 1U rack or wall mount tabs. This allows the user to protect, encase and showcase one of the most powerful router platforms on the market today, preserving the value and allowing for simple integration into the most common 19” network racks. The simple design also allows the user to mount the router on the wall by simply rotating the mounting tabs if a 1U size rack is not available. The CA/493U also allows the user to access all 9 Ethernet ports (the back Ethernet Port1 and the front Ethernet Port2-9). The Serial Console Port as well as the standard power supply become unavailable.
